Maxeler Technologies VP of Engineering Oliver Pell will be joining a panel discussion as part of the EuReCCA workshop in Barcelona on November 4th, covering “Challenges for computer systems architecture in 2020 and beyond”.

EuReCCA, the European Research Center on Computer Systems Architecture, is a pan-European virtual research center of top-class research institutions. The EuReCCA workshop is intended to identify the central questions regarding research, education and innovation in computer architecture for the next decade.

In the workshop Maxeler will be presenting our thoughts on the application drivers for computing performance in the next decade and the major technology constraints involved, as well as discussing how dataflow computing can offer solutions that achieve maximum performance for given space/power/etc for large classes of HPC applications.

The workshop will take place in the UPC President’s building, CAMPUS NORD – Edif. R C. JORDI GIRONA, 31, 08034 BARCELONA, on November 4th 2011.
